Franciscus Verellen, chair of the ECAF Steering Committee, participated in a roundtable debate to launch the publication of Champa and the Archaeology of My Son, edited by Andrew Hardy, Mauro Cucarzi, and Patrizia Zolese (Singapore, NUS Press, 2008). The event, marking the first publication resulting from an ECAF collaboration (Lerici Foundation/EFEO), took place in Hanoi with the participation of the editors and the French and Italian ambassdors to Vietnam.
