Research Centre Rez Ltd.

Research Centre Rez Ltd., is a non-profit organisation devoted to activities that require research reactors LR-0 and LVR-15. The Centre was founded in 2004 by the Czech Ministry of Education that fully endorsed a research proposal for all scientific and R&D activities to be carried out during the next six years. The Centre is a unique institution providing a sophisticated infrastructure for research and development focussed on advancement of analytical methods.

Professor Karel Kranda was educated at Oxford University (BA Physiology and Psychology) and the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (MSc and PhD in Visual Sciences). Apart from being a leading scientist at the Research Centre Rez Ltd and at the Nuclear Physics Institute of the Czech Academy of Science Centre, Karel Kranda is a director of the Czech national project in Angkor, Gopura that focuses on elemental analysis and dating of sandstone blocks.
