EFEO Junior Field Research Fellowship
The Ecole française d'Extrême-Orient provides field research fellowships to graduate students and postdoctoral scholars affiliated with ECAF member institutions. Applicants must hold a master’s degree or a doctorate awarded no more than three years before the commencement of the fellowship period. The EFEO Junior Field Research Fellowship is designed to finance periods of study at ECAF centres operated by the EFEO.
Applications must be sponsored by the candidate’s research supervisor.
Funding type: allowance for living expenses.
Amount: monthly allowances range from 700 € to 1 360 € depending on the applicant’s qualifications (doctoral or post-doctoral) and the country concerned.
Duration: 2 to 12 months, depending on the research program undertaken.
