Vientiane
Research at the EFEO Centre in Vientiane is primarily directed towards historical studies based on philology and epigraphy, but also includes work in the fields of ethnology, art history, and archaeology. The work carried out in all of these areas contributes to a wider program of multidisciplinary research on the Buddhist societies between India and China.
