Over the last 50 years the IsIAO headquarters in Saidu Sharif have been offering the best solution for carrying out high quality research. The library contains more than 3.000 catalogued books (concerning mainly Pakistan archaeology, fine arts and ethnography). It is regularly updated and could be considered the most complete archaeological library in the Province.

• organisation and conduction of fieldworks (archaeological excavations and surveys)
• indoor activities including study, restoration, GIS mapping and data processing
